Chocolate Chip Pecan Blondies
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/4 sticks margarine
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts/pecans
Directions:
- Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
- Blend in sugar. whisk in eggs and vanilla.
- Gently stir in flour mixed with baking powder and salt
- Spread into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts/pecans.
- Bake in a 350F oven about 25 minutes or tested with moist crumbs attached.
- Cool and cover and let stand 24 hours at room temperature before cutting
