Chocolate Chip Pecan Blondies

Chocolate Chip Pecan Blondies

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/4 sticks margarine
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts/pecans

Directions:
  1. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
  2. Blend in sugar. whisk in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Gently stir in flour mixed with baking powder and salt
  4. Spread into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts/pecans.
  6. Bake in a 350F oven about 25 minutes or tested with moist crumbs attached.
  7. Cool and cover and let stand 24 hours at room temperature before cutting
